VeloTrust · Quick start

From administrator setup to employee access

This page summarizes the setup flow. A self-hosted deployment requires an administrator to prepare servers, a database, and a network Gateway. Confirm your team can operate these components before starting.

Before you begin

What you need before starting

  • Company-hosted servers for VeloTrust Management and HUB, plus a PostgreSQL database.
  • A Linux Gateway host that can reach the private business resources employees need.
  • A company domain, TLS certificates, and a list of private services to protect.
Administrator

For admins: configure team access

  1. Deploy the services

Configure Management, HUB, PostgreSQL, and TLS using the deployment manual.

  2. Connect the company network

Configure and register a Gateway on a Linux host that can reach private services.

  3. Add employees and resources

Create employee accounts and teams, then register the business resources to protect.

  4. Assign access

Link teams and business resources in access rules. Access is not opened unless a rule allows it.

  5. Provide Client configuration

Export the Client configuration for each employee and deliver it through a secure channel.

Employee

For employees: reach approved resources

  1. Download the Client

Choose an installer from the downloads page that is currently published for your device.

  2. Import company settings

Import the configuration file provided by your administrator.

  3. Sign in and verify

Sign in with the employee account created by your company. Complete a one-time code challenge if required.

  4. View available resources

After connecting, see the resources your account is authorized to access.
